How to acquire EU funds for the development of education in current calls?


Elaborating an application for financing an educational project from the European Social Fund during the new 2014‑2020 programming period

The objective of the training is to broaden the knowledge regarding the possibilities of obtaining EU funds for educational activities during the new programming period and the application process for EU funds for educational projects, taking into account the guidelines for the given province, in the light of the first calls announced and to be announced in 2015 and 2016.

After the completion of the workshop, we offer individual one‑hour remote consultations with our experts.

The workshop is addressed to:

  • Employees of local government entities
  • School headmasters
  • School employees in charge of EU‑funded projects

The following issues will be discussed during the training:

  • New regulations relative to the acquisition of EU funds for educational projects, in particular the sources of financing for educational projects, the types of projects and the possible scopes of support
  • The process of application for ESF funds, taking into account in particular the diagnostic process which must be performed and approved by the investigating authority
  • The structure of the application, including the parts regarding the objectives, the description of the target groups, the tasks, the specification of indicators, budgeting and timetable, taking into account in particular the  changes implemented in the new programming period
  • The new principles relative to the financing of projects co‑funded from the EFS funds, required for the correct elaboration of the application

The final element of the training will be the presentation of the scope of the application and the next steps relative to the process of elaboration and submission of applications for funding. Individual consultations will be provided and are included in the price of the training.

Consultant at PCG Polska, expert in issues relative to acquisition and implementation of EU funds within the framework of the European Social Fund. Member of the Monitoring Sub Committee for the Human Capital Operational Programme in the Łódzkie Province, expert entered into the list of persons assessing the applications within the Regional Operational Programme for the Łódzkie Province 2014 2020 and the Regional Operational Programme for the Wielkopolskie Province 2014 2020. Certified instructor of the National ESF Centre, in 2009 2014, key instructor at the Regional ESF Centre in Łódź and in Piotrków Trybunalski. He conducted over 100 trainings on the acquisition and settlement of funds allocated for supporting educational activities for beneficiaries. Since 2015, member of Social Economy Development Committee in Łódzkie Province, earlier – member of the Team elaborating the Long-Term Action Plan for the development and propagation of social economy in the Łódzkie Province for the years 2013‑2020.

Earlier, he worked for the City of Tuszyn, where he was in charge of the elaboration and implementation of the city development strategy and of EU‑funded projects. During the years 2004‑2014, he worked for the European Studies Foundation – European Institute in Łódź, where for 5 years he was the head of the Regional European Social Fund Centre in charge of supporting the beneficiaries of EU funds in the appropriate implementation of EU‑funded agreements. Earlier, he acted as coordinator for projects co-funded by third parties and as a trainer for public administration representatives.

The workshops are organized for about 20 participants from several entities in a given region. We provide coffee and lunch during the breaks in the workshops. The cost of participation per person is PLN 279.
