PCG Education experts during the IV Modern Principal Conference

PCG Education experts presented their ideas and experience during the IV Modern Principal Conference, which was held on 14th and 15th March in the Warszawianka Conference Center in Warsaw (www.nowoczesny‑dyrektor.pl).

Ewa Stożek, PhD conducted a workshop entitled “Why should we evaluate ourselves? About importance of different measurements for school improvement”. During the workshop different indicators based on external exam results were presented and their application for everyday decision making was discussed.

Maciej Koniewski gave lecture titled “Myth Busters. What principals should know about the indicators of effective education?”. Common opinions about the effectiveness of education were compared with Polish and international research results.

Mariusz Wypych described different ways to secure external funds for education during the “How to apply for EU funds for the school development?” presentation.

Ewa Rogalska held workshop entitled “Do I realize a full potential of my school? Principal as a leader of change.” Meeting was an opportunity to discuss and compare opinions and experience in education management with a goal to utilize effectively the school’s human capital and capacity.
