PCG Health in collaboration with the Polish Institute of Silver Economy, conducted the pre‑investment analysis on the feasibility of the project "Active aging in Rybnik" to be executed in the public-private partnership (PPP) formula. The project in Rybnik is one of the first investments dedicated to senior citizens to be realized by the local government in the PPP model – as Agata Miśkowiec, Head of PCG Health in Poland writes on Rynek Seniora.
The analyses were performed as a part of concours that will identify a pilot PPP project in the health sector. The selected project will gain a comprehensive support from the Ministry of Development during project preparation and when selecting the private partner. The purpose of the analysis was to examine the demand and supply of the proposed services in order to match the scale of the investment to local needs. PCG has also conducted financial forecasting, risk analysis, and tested the market with potential investors from health and financial industry.
We hope that Rybnik will pave the way for other innovative local governments that want to effectively provide care for local seniors.
