Practical Seminar "Innovations towards ageing" promotes social prescribing

PCG as the author of social innovation "Prescription for life" had the opportunity to present the results of the test implementation of the social prescribing mechanism for participants of the Practical Seminar "Innovations towards old age". The event was very popular among representatives of local governments and their organizational units from all over the country. The third sector was also visibly represented.

Prescription for life

During the event, which took place on 23-24 May 2019 in Warsaw, the most interesting and tested in practice solutions improving the quality of life of the elderly and their carers were presented in a very dynamic form.
Among the presented and promoted solutions was "Prescription for life" - a mechanism of social prescriptions tested for the first time in Poland by PCG Poland in cooperation with SPZOZ in Konstantynów Łódzki and the Konstantynów Łódzki commune (including, inter alia, the local public library, sports and recreation center and the third age university).

The number of participants and a much larger number of applications confirm the importance of this topic and the great need for innovative solutions for the elderly and disabled people and their carers.
The energy of participants, innovators and panelists gave us fresh motivation to undertake yet new activities related to the subject of the aging society. We operate cross-industry, intergenerationally and create innovative solutions.

Solutions developed within the framework of the Innovation Generator (a total of 28 proven ideas) are available on open licenses so that every interested entity can use them free of charge. The model of social recipes developed in Konstantynów is available at:
