On 21 October 2015, PCG Polska, in cooperation with the Perspektywy Education Foundation, organized the meeting of the Competition Board of the Leaders in University Management Competition LUMEN 2015. The meeting was chaired by Professor Michał Kleiber, Ph. D., the President of PCG Polska, Mr. Piotr Dmochowski-Lipski and the President of Perspektywy, Mr. Waldemar Siwiński.
During the meeting, the Board members analyzed almost 200 applications submitted by the leading public and non-public universities from all over the country. The projects submitted featured a number of interesting solutions in the field of university management, such as process management models, innovative IT solutions or programs of cooperation with the business environment and the local community. The members of the Competition Board unanimously agreed that the identification and the further promotion of best practice will significantly enhance the professionalization of university management in Poland.
The next Board meeting will be held on 3 November 2015 at the PCG headquarters in Warsaw. The final results of the works of the Boards, and the competition winners, will be made public during the Leaders in University Management Conference LUMEN 2015, which will be held in Warsaw on 23-24 November.
