SAVE – SCREENING FOR ABUSE VICTIMS AMONG THE ELDERLY

Short info on the project and its goals: The SAVE project aims to improve the adoption of screening programmes for elder abuse in health and social care settings, by providing training and support to professionals on how to implement and use them effectively.
Main project outputs:

A literature review re: screening instruments for older adult’s mistreatment
A training curriculum and material on identification and intervention on violence against older persons
Country specific recommendations for the use of screening instruments
An online course re: screening for older adult’s mistreatment
