roboSTEAMKIDS

upgrading early childhood education and care through the digital upskilling of teachers and the introduction of an inclusive STEAM and robotics programme

Short info on the project, its goals and main outputs: The project aims to equip early childhood education (ECE) teachers with new digital competences, pedagogical skills and the essential tools and resources corresponding to STEAM (Science, Technologies, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) and Robotics. The project also encompasses the goal to advance the methods in the pedagogies used in ECE, as well as to eliminate disparities in regard to digital education among EU member states.
The main project results:

The STEAM & robotics in ECE handbook: peer-review for the exchange of good practices and transnational cooperation;
Toolkits for teachers, parents and children, containing educational materials, activity suggestions, as well as practical tips and helpful resources;
The inclusive on-line platform offering, in addition to the above-mentioned results, a virtual academy, assessment and accreditation tool, a communication tool and a networking platform.
