E-Opieka – works on the development of the system for managing care services started

In the E-Opieka project for the capital city of Warsaw and Warsaw Functional Zone (WOF), in which PCG Polska and itCraft have been providing business and technology consulting for several years, work has started for the first part of the innovative system supporting the coordination and monitoring of home care services. This is a big step towards improving the quality of support for the elderly and people with disabilities.

As part of the contract signed between the Capital City of Warsaw and Sygnity (the selected Contractor), the following tools will be developed:

  • central e-Care system, which will enable standardization and optimization of care services
  • m-Opieka application, which will monitor the manner of service delivery and
  • information portal

The main goal of the project "Construction and implementation of an integrated support system for care services based on ICT tools in the Warsaw Functional Area (E-Care)" is not only to improve the quality of life of people using care services provided by the Capital City of Warsaw, but also to support further digitization of services in the social welfare area.
The project is implemented by Warsaw in partnership with ten municipalities (Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Jabłonna, Karczew, Legionowo, Marki, Pruszków, Raszyn, Wieliszew, Zielonka, Żyrardów), in cooperation with Warsaw social welfare centers, Social Services Center "Społeczna Warszawa", The Care and Treatment Center and 14 Warsaw social welfare homes.
The E-Opieka project is co-financed by EU funds under the Regional Operational Program of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship for 2014-2020.
