We are happy to announce that on July 1st 2015 in Warsaw PCG Polska signed a final agreement on the purchase of 100% of shares in Partners in Progress, a leading provider of management information systems to higher education institutions in Poland. Signing of the final agreement marks the completion of a transaction started in March of 2015, and puts PCG on the map of HE software providers in Poland with a solid SIS product, loyal clientele, and a promising outlook for future growth.
Acquisition of Partners in Progress is part of PCG's broader strategy to develop services which improve the quality of higher education management in Poland. In addition PCG and its partners intend to build the first platform in Poland that enables university staff members to communicate, develop professionally and exchange best practices.
In order to intensify these actions on June 1st, 2015, PCG signed a collaboration agreement with Perspektywy Education Foundation. The first joint initiative of PCG and Perspektywy will be a conference connected with an awards gala for the leaders in university management – LUMEN 2015, scheduled for the second half of November 2015 in Warsaw. LUMEN awards are going to promote the authors of the most successful projects in key areas of university management.
